Unusable graphical interface with unknown lsb_release command #1033

Distribution name and version where applicable Centos 7.9

Flatpak info Flatpak 1.13.2 (earlier versions don't compile on my system)

Problem description From an up-to-date beta version, the launch of Steam seems to be successful outside of graphics (transparent window) with the welcoming sound intro. Hereafter the log messages I selected from the terminal

...
Could not connect to X session manager: None of the authentication protocols specified are supported
...
sh: line 1: lsb_release: command not found
sh: line 1: lsb_release: command not found
...

Does this issue reproduce with native Steam No

So few updates installed since, the issue is still here after a complete reinstallation

The issue was resolved somehow with client updates, presumably from last patches.
