I tried toggling off the Background setting after install, but Steam would just crash after loading the main window regardless if opening via shortcut or terminal command.
Re-enabling the background setting seems to have resolved the crashing.
It looks like background is disabled for flatpak apps by default.
Hello, I might have a possible fix for a lot of the crashing and installation issues. I couldn't install the app as it kept crashing when downloading a few % in, but enabling the "Background" setting in Flatseal under Portals fixed the installer.
