Client crashing upon loading main window #1279

Flatpak info

Flatpak 1.15.6 nvidia-550-67 default host

Problem description

Upon launching this flatpak version of the client, everything works fine until right when "loading account info" finishes and is about to open the main client window, it then instantly crashes (and for some reason, vesktop, a discord client i have installed, also crashes instantly). Afterwards, neither steam nor vesktop can be opened again even if I kill all processes related to them (until i relog into a new session).

the log lists steam: ../../src/xcb_io.c:626: _XAllocID: Assertion `ret != inval_id' failed. I tried clearing the images cache and reinstalling it entirely with flatpak but to no avail.

Does this issue reproduce with native Steam

Can not test, currently facing an ongoing issue where i cannot open the native client this flatpak version was my workaround until this started happening a few days ago.

Upon further investigation this appears to be an Xwayland issue related to using an animated Xcursor, closing the issue since its not related to flatpak.
