Steam invalid X11 window #1310

Game information: Steam

Distro: Fedora release 39 (Thirty Nine)

Flatpak info: flatpak --version: Flatpak 1.15.8 flatpak --gl-drivers: nvidia-550-78 default host -->

Problem description: logs.txt

  1. open steam
  2. steam window goes black
  3. I can click on stuff in the steam window
  4. lists will pop up when I hover over them video from issue 1277

I suspect this is all of the error log that matters: WARNING: discarding _NET_WM_PID 52817 as invalid for X11 window - use specialized XCB_X11_TO_PID function!

Does this issue reproduce with native Steam: based on this reddit post it does not happen on native

P.S https://github.com/flathub/com.valvesoftware.Steam/issues/1277 this is the same issue but badly formatted so I made this one with full logs.

I also have message like: WARNING: discarding _NET_WM_PID 5 as invalid for X11 window - use specialized XCB_X11_TO_PID function! but Steam and games works.
