Just wanted to ask about the status here, as vscode-flatpak latest seems to be upgraded to freedesktop sdk 23.08

Yep, just saw the VS Code update to 23.08 as well. Updated VS Code and tried the most recent test build in this PR, and podman-remote seems to be working as expected from within VS Code, so this PR should be good to go.

I believe this has to be merged because recent vscode cannot use the extension (because of runtime mismatch?)
