Apparently this is built to assume ISA extensions too new for my CPU.
That's not the problem I'm reporting though. The problem is that I had to use --command=sh and manually run ares inside the resulting shell to get it to say "Illegal instruction".

Closed as nothing actionable to fix this beyond using newer hardware sadly
