No close option in latest release #380

I've encountered the same problem. Probably some wayland issues because it doesn't happen on x11.

To be precise this is a electron regression that can be seen in wayland, it can be spotted in other apps using certain versions.

Why not, but then again they dont really support wayland. This flatpak has a setting to force the use of wayand and thats the real issue.

Dup of https://github.com/flathub/im.riot.Riot/issues/377, the reporter closed the issue so it went out of radar.

It's fixed in Electron https://github.com/electron/electron/releases/tag/v25.3.0, Element is using v25.0.0 Should be fixed when they upgrade https://github.com/vector-im/element-desktop/blob/bc97be9ab70f5f4b516adf7c16ad858f4c819de6/package.json#L93C5-L93C31

(Please keep open until Element releases a version with Electron >=25.3.0)

@bbhtt It is fixed in Element 1.11.37 with the Dependencies Dump (https://github.com/vector-im/element-desktop/blob/ef457ca9d71513162bcfa3a92fd6bf4243ee64eb/yarn.lock#L3516
