1 year ago Looked into it a bit, but it is quite difficult; I'll have to patch the Java code for it to be disabled. Not high on the prio list.
It might we worth contacting upstream: Other third-party packages have the same problem so perhaps they can add an env-variable to suppress this message.
Whenever a new version is reelased I get an update dialog when starting the application. Clicking on the "upgrade" button opens the site to download a deb/rmp package. But when DBeaver is installed via flatpak it is unlikely that you want to install the binary package.
I don't know how much effort it is to patch this update dialog and either show only a notice when the flatpak is updated or just show nothing.
