.MCworld Files can't be opened, even if placed in the "worlds" folder.

The game doesn't support worlds in archives, you have to unpack the zip into a folder under "worlds".

The game may load Resource packs in .mcpack files, but that's it.

If your extension is .mcworld (No capitalized letters) then it will be possible in the 0.10 series of this app to open the files from your file explorer.
