Would it be possible to support custom extensions which provide custom Qt Designer plugins?

I think that would be possible by setting a environment variable. What extension do you have in mind?

It's a designer plugin that provides custom widgets, much like the ones for KDE already available in the org.kde.Sdk.

Sorry, but my question was probably worded incorrectly. I know what a Plugin does, but I need to know what Plugin you want to use, so I can test things out.

It's a proprietary plugin, unfortunately. I wonder if I can find an open source one you could test with.
