I'll soon push a build that will contain a working libappindicator
rather than relying on GtkStatusIcon
(which has been quite neglected by the GTK+ team as they don't need it for “real GNOME applications”). I'll post an update when it is live.
Just like #2 this should work now (I forgot to add that promised comment unfortunately). Please leave feedback or close this.
@alexander255 Hi. I tested this issue with new version - by launched Jami via following command: flatpak run net.jami.Jami 2>&1 | tee jami-gnome.log
It is resolved. I click "x" to close Jami window, then I checked "Show Jami" from system try icon & Jami window re-opened again. So, I will close this issue
Hi. I installed Jami flatpak on my Fedora 28 X64 Cinnamon edition. Package seem working & I'm evaluating it. Each bug I discovered, I will report about it here.
1st bug I noticed is that: when I close (x) Jami, it remain active in background (normal behaviour) & it's icon in system panel remain active (also normal behaviour). When left click on icon of Jami in system panel, then Jami UI will opened (also very normal & okay). But on RIGHT click on Jami icon in system panel, there will appear list of 2 options: exist & show Jami. When I check box of "Show Jami" option it will not bring Jami UI.
Please your kind fix if this is a flatpak issue
