Hi. If the users search for messenger on flathub.org Jami wont show up. The reason why suppose to be related with Jami description. See here

I would leave it at the Flathub issue you linked, the appstream data provided by jami is already good enough and should covers this search query. You can look for yourself at https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-client-qt/-/blob/master/jami-qt.appdata.xml and if you see room for improvement create a issue at https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-client-qt/-/issues or at the gnome client respectively.
