At a Ubuntu system with Jamis official package source apt search jami unveils the current version:

In the beta channel and don't touch the tray icon. I'm unhappy about the state of development from Jami. This is another big issue or how they have handled Wayland and Portal support in the past. It seems like it only receives little testing on Linux and I usually hold out broken versions.
