The metainfo file shipped with Blender now gets installed: https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/pulls/114115

So the version in this repo can be removed.

Installed this and played with it a bit. So far working well for me on Debian 12.

It looks like it is not included in the binary archive, so I think we still need it.
