This is probably a Firestorm issue more than a packaging issue since I tried a bunch of different versions of the package and they all seem to have the issue now so I'm guessing it's something on my system, probably a new kernel or something.
@ThePademelon make sure you have org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.default
installed
@p1u3o a couple versions are installed, which one should I have?
I think it is an issue with the flatpak because I got the tarball working on my machine. I didn't seem to have the dependencies it needed installed but when I set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable to this folder /var/lib/flatpak/app/org.firestormviewer.FirestormViewer/x86_64/stable/d5cb520ba3e228154e30d51fd8816dc25e63c693c61f50732440f5ddda0ef7b2/files/lib/
from the flatpak it started working.
@ThePademelon What distro are you using?
Friend of mine tried to install the Flatpak today, this was the error message they got, is this related?
@p1u3o I'm using Void Linux.
@mindinsomnia That will be due to the version being pulled, read here for why. As for how to fix it, try a previous version. If that doesn't work, open a separate issue.
An updated build has been published and should be out asap.

I'm also using Void Linux without any issues. please try the new release and we can compare our systems after that.
New version works!
