Frescobaldi doesn't open a new tab #19

If I have Frescobaldi open and I open a file from the file explorer, a new window instead of a new tab (what I'm used to from apt installed Frescobaldi) is opened.

I cannot reproduce this problem on Fedora 37, flatpak version 1.14.0.

I know you are using an old LTS Ubuntu version. I guess that upgrading to the latest LTS version might solve most of your problems. Perhaps you can first verify in a virtual machine if my guess is true.

I took this situation as an "opportunity" to make a fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04 and all problems were solved. Thank you!
