Thank you for packaging Godot! The current packaging of Godot for flathub diverges significantly from what we do in our official builds, and some things that new users struggle with already (like setting up blender/external editors) etc, is even harder with these packages than our official upstream builds.
I'd personally love you help make sure what flathub Godot is usable for the type of users most likely to use it, that is Godot and/or Linux novices, but it in it's current state it serves only to discourage new users when something does not work right, and the Godot website and documentation will be of no help to these users.
Again, I'd love to work with you to make this a great experience but until it is I'd really like to make sure that when a users sees this online or in gnome software or something we tell them that we cannot support them.
