I think the cause of this might have something to do with the default OpenSymbol font. If I customize the list and set the font to Liberation Sans or Calibri, the bullets become visible.
But maybe not, because even if the libreoffice-opensymbol-fonts package is installed on the host and visible in flatpack, as verified by fc-match inside a flatpak enter shell, the bullets are still invisible.
This problem doesn't happen with LibreOffice installed by dnf, obviously.
