can you update the appdata file? Have a look at the old updates to see what files usually change. e.g. https://github.com/flathub/org.openstreetmap.josm/pull/11/files

I could do that, but there is literally no difference (in the summarized log messages, which is what is what you appear to be using) between 15237 and 15238. I could add a description version that says

medium enhancements
    bugfix: fix moving of 2+ selected relation members, events optimization (#17894)

but that is not in the summarized changelog.
