Hi,

Signal does not let me attach images to send with the error "Unable to attach file" or gets stuck at Loading when mousing over. This happens when trying several different ways.

Note that I have had issues with attaching from attachments before my OS reinstall. Since OS reinstall I cannot even paste from the clipboard into the chat. Please clarify if any further details are required as I am not sure what may be needed for troubleshooting purposes.

Troubleshooting: Uninstalled Signal and removed remaining folder from /home/user/.local/share/flatpak/app so should have not left any files behind. Running via terminal does not seem to show errors when attempting to attach/send attachments Only errors mentioned are for GTK which may or may not be related? Gtk-Message: 16:49:37.403: Failed to load module "xapp-gtk3-module" Gtk-Message: 16:49:37.461: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module" Gtk-Message: 16:49:37.462: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"

Did you change anything with the permissions? It currently has full filesystem access, so it should work. You can ignore the GTK messages. They are unrelated. Do you have the current version?

I checked and saw there was an update available so I updated to 7.29.0. I pressed Yes with the below prompt but I have the same issue. Screenshot from 2024-10-17 21-41-02

And you clicked YES and still it doesn't work?

I did yes.
