zoom requires `background` permission (?)

Issue

The zoom flatpak consistently closes after ~30 seconds or so. This isn't a crash, as far as I can tell, as no unexpected errors are in the logs - neither the zoom logs nor journalctl.

Solution

Give zoom the background permission.

I don't know why, but this lets zoom continue to run.

This is really wierd issue, not sure where to start exactly.

Can you reproduce this issue in a VM? Can anyone else reproduce this issue?

Are you using wayland, Xwayland or X11?

Are you using pipewire?

Can you try reproducing the issue while running zoom from the command line, to see stdout/stderr? flatpak run us.zoom.Zoom
