Add options to build dependencies #7

I've got a bit of this going in the fmm-builtin branch, but it's not flexible yet. Trilinos is also a huge dependency that could certainly be added.

ditching support for this, I think. I provide singularity containers for single-node runs. HPC users will just have to compile the chain themselves, which they can use the singularity build script as an example.
