In unix, you can set an environment variable prior to running the command:
SOME_VAR=some_value your_command
But, I can't remember whether things can be configured using env variables on the (old) version of mountainlab. If not, then this task could be difficult. I suggest moving to the latest version of mountainlab, where the docs are clear about how to configure things using env variables.
I still need to use this version for a bit before switching. I also ran into some bugs with the new version that I have noted in the issues over there. Any more clues? I'm not seeing an environment variable for the config.
I would like to have various config directories for different jobs running in parallel
