In case this is useful for others feel free to ignore. Used here to download data for Windows users.

Thanks, Alex. Merging. Curiosity: were you able to successfully download the data in this way?

@magland It's taking some time - only 10GB in ~45 mins (and my internet is > 150 Mb's) but works OK.

Okay, thx. We are working on improving the efficiency. Also, if it dies in the middle, it should resume roughly where it left off. Please let us know how it goes. (Ultimately we will implement distributed download like bittorrent, etc)
