Change all shell commands to $ #621

I might not know something here, but I think we should either go for $ or for # and not mix both?

At least # seems like a comment to me, but that's very subjective.

# is a root shell.

Sorry for the noise then.

For context, I never liked to have the prefixes in the first place, as they usually mess up copy and paste.
