As someone not super familiar with the glib/GNOME software ecosystem, it is not clear to me how the docs in doc/ are meant to be viewed. It would be nice to have at the very least a brief explanation for what tool to use, or such. I tried using gnome-help, but it tells me "The file ‘/mnt/storage/Programming/libportal/doc/libportal.xml’ could not be parsed because one or more of its included files is not a well-formed XML document.", so I suppose I'm doing something wrong.
