Hello @macmeeeu,

Thank you for your request. We are not yet aware of the problem you have briefly described. We need more information to be able to reproduce and investigate the problem:

If you are using the FlatPress 1.3 release, you can also copy the output of the "Show support data" panel in the admin area->Maintain menu here.

With best regards Frank

i use versie 1.3 php 8.1 on strato. However i think i solve the problem in strato you can add a option php-boost,
Then it should go much more faster. I will test it the coming days but what i see now it looks good. So for every body who use strato activated anyway the php-boost. It cost nothing. Should i change my php to 8.2? Or it is not in a hurry.

Hello @macmeeeu,

Thank you for your feedback. I'm not sure what Stratos PHP Boost is all about. From eight year old forum posts I could see that it activates a code cache and runs PHP in FPM/FastCGI mode. At least it makes sense to activate this option at Strato. In general, FlatPress is very frugal. 4GB of RAM and an ARM 4-core CPU are more than enough, even for other gimmicks. If a performance problem occurs again, I recommend switching to the FlatPress Leggero theme and deactivating all plugins that are not part of the standard distro. This way you can at least narrow down whether there is a general problem with FlatPress or whether the cause lies elsewhere.

The security support for PHP8.1 expires on November 25th of this year. PHP8.1 will then have the status EOL. If you can switch, switch to PHP 8.2, but there's no rush. We have tested FlatPress 1.3 up to PHP 8.3 and have not identified any disadvantages. So if Strato offers a switch to PHP 8.3, you can switch to this version right away.

Have fun with FlatPress.

I am closing this issue. It can be reopened if required. With best regards Frank
