I wonder whether we might want to keep list of symptoms that indicate the need for medical attention (shortness of breath, hypoxia, ...).

The local criteria for what constitutes who needs to be hospitalized is pretty out of scope here. Both because it will depend on hospital capacity, risk factors of the individual, etc. We could still recommend that people track their symptoms so that they know what to tell the doctors if in fact they are hospitalized. Maybe I will close this PR and open one accordingly.
