[Feature Request] Add ability to import CSV subscriptions from YouTube. #212

About the request.

I am currently subscribed to 100s of YouTube channels on YouTube, and it is simply not practical to search for each one of them and add them manually to this great app. It would be fantastic if it was possible to import my subscriptions from YouTube.

About Exporting Subscriptions From YouTube

Google allows you to export your YouTube subscriptions.

How to export your subscriptions

  1. Open https://takeout.google.com/
  2. Now you are in Google Takeout, which allow you to download your data from Google.
  3. In Products, click Deselect All.
  4. Scroll all the way down, mark YouTube.
  5. Click All YouTube data included.
  6. Now Deselect All.
  7. Select subscriptions.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click Next Step and then Create export.
  10. Wait a few seconds to a few minutes, the export is created. Click Download. It is a zip with the subscriptions in CSV format. It will be in Takeout/YouTube and Youtube Music/Subscriptions/.

Already available. Click Subscriptions and find "Import Subscriptions..." in the status bar.
