I have decided to take an indefinite break from maintaining this library. I don't have much free time to dedicate to open-source these days and I think it would be better spent contributing to the projects I use and like instead of being a pretty absent maintainer.
This library has been a fun part of my life for a few years and I am happy to have worked with @flavray and you all contributors of the Rust community.
I know that a few important features are still missing (hello proper support for named types) and there are a few annoying bugs (yay, avro defaults), but I believe I leave the library in a good enough place for people to keep using it in production and to keep contributing to it.
From now on, please ping @flavray in your PRs and issues.
