9 years ago "rtf" support is incomplete, to say the least. So I don't really "advertise" it much to avoid disappointing users. Calls for others to assist with improving rtf exporting have gone unanswered for years, leading me to believe that very few users actually care.
text is also only useful for a few specific things that users don't need. Also doesn't need to be advertised.
multimarkdown --help didn't include "rtf" in the list of available output formats. "text" apparently is also missing, but when I ran multimarkdown --to=text, I got an error message - I'm not sure whether this is a bug, therefore I omitted it.
