Explanation how to style tables #26

Dear all,

I am trying to style a table, based on a template.

The current template looks like this:

I wanted to ask where I can find more information and more explanation, how this style can be altered. E.g. I know you can make every second line in a different background colour, define the borders differently, etc. But how?

What does th mean, what does td mean, etc. (I guess table header = th, but I am sure this will be listed somewhere?)

I have been looking everywhere and can't find anything on this website, in the user guide or in the web at all.

A bit of help where to look would be very much appreciated,

as always once I posted something, I found the solution myself...
