I'm planning to write some general documentation on how we designed this and why it works this way. On my list right now are:

Our design philosophy (e.g. using immutable objects, seperation of threads, etc.)
How do we use OSGi for the FPAI & PowerMatcher (DS + ConfigAdmin + Metatype + bndtools)
How can we add stuff to the bundle-hub (and how does it actually work)
How to develop widgets
How to run FPAI (what are the external run dependancies and why)
How to use the ConnectionManager and what is it for

Please put any questions you have what should be put into documentation somewhere as a comment here!
