Explain in details in specification : Dune Sebilleau "Element in time granularity"
Fabio will propose two definitions:
I think that they would be redundant, and only "time slice" is needed.
I would write directly the following at the beginning of the document, right after "for consumption and production":
"FOs consider time as discrete, and divided in regular intervals called time slices. The duration of a time slice is usually 15 minutes, and is defined in the parameter numSecondsPerInterval."
And, in the first following bullet point, "in 15min time resolution" can be eliminated. After that, the document can be changed accordingly, replacing the two instances of "time interval(s)" with "time slice(s)".
Also, for better comprehension because of the similar terms, after the words "time horizon" in 1.2.1, it can be added ",that is, the number of time slices that the FO is considering."
Question: Parameter “slices”: what do they describe? By: Jure Ratej, Etrel
