Proposition: depending on the use-case, a cancelation of the adaptation demand, even if not implemented by the EMS can be undesirable. It should be possible to specify criteria for the cancellation of a demand.

Following the directions and recommendation of several research and usage on demand response:
the prosumer is allowed anytime prior and during the adptation to cancel the demand and reconstruct original consumption or operation (it is important to preserve the prosumer independency, integrity and control on its appliances). The protocol allows to transport this information (or at least should allow). It is up to aggregator and its contractual relation to penalize such behaviour
the aggregator is allowed to cancel prosumer's demand anytime prior and during adaptation. The protocol allows (or at least should allow) to transport such information. It is up to contract how the prosumer realizes such cancelation (there may be technical constraints) and what happens to the refund.
