Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. F-Droid version doesn't have notifications.

Describe the solution you'd like Maybe UnifiedPush could be utilised?

Describe alternatives you've considered Google Play version usually isn't an alternative for F-Droid users

Additional context Keeping track of Firmware Updates is quite important IMHO

Well the aim of UnifiedPush is exactly to be that system-wide replacement.
