For our Flitsmeister use case, we noticed there is a bug where the Metal version of the map will glitch out when the app is started from the CarPlay screen first. Not reproducible for us, but many of our thousands of external beta testers have noted this glitch happens with video & screenshot proof.
For now, we're reverting back to 5.12.2 instead of the pre-release Metal version
