[BUG] empty board after install and setup of the cards

Describe the bug I recently installed this through HACS and followed the setup on the readme, but somehow I end up with empty cards (even after several days waiting in the hopes it would just take a while to fill up...). Then for some reason it started to work today, but after some editing on the board to make it more look like I wanted, I did a refresh of the page and the graphs/data was gone again and clearing the cache didn't help while in a incognito window it did work again. The HA app on my Android phone shows the same issue, no data to be seen...

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to '...' ( am actually not sure how to reproduce this as it is not really showing a pattern on when it works and when it doesn't but it feels it has something to do with cache/cookies as it works in incognito mode)
2. Click on '....' (see 1)
3. Scroll down to '....' (see 1)
4. See error (no data to be displayed)

Expected behavior showing the data of my energy usage of the selected date

Additional context if there is anything I can do to provide some more info for troubleshooting, please let me know, as at this point I have no idea where to look and what to test out as it is all over the place...

EDIT: it works if I move the selector to the end of the layout, but not when it's in the beginning of the layout.
