ITV Player problem #565

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

New user - potentially user error. Attempting to download a IT programme.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

get_flash_videos version 1.24 (http://code.google.com/p/get-flash-videos/)

You have an old version of get_flash_videos

Later versions now display a plugin version for ITV the latest is 0.04, your 
using a version that doesn't support the ITV change over. You don't say which 
OS version. There might be a later version for your OS. If not try the download 
files or fetching the git version. 

I used OpenBSD amd64 current for the above download. I use get_flash_videos to 
download from ITV frequently and haven't seen any problems recently.

Thanks for the update. I was originally using a lbuntu machine and had used the 
packaged version.

I installed via git on a VM running Ubuntu and after the installation of a few 
perl modules I seem to be getting further.

That's nearly there, possible rtmpdump hasn't been installed, it's an old 
version which fails, or not on search path. You should be able to cut and paste 
the rtmpdump command on the command line to run it.

First try entering rtmpdump on the command line, that should give the version,
