Summary Section on Home Page

There needs to be a static section at the start of the Home page that is a general summary page. This content needs to be editable through the Wordpress admin and include rich text editing features.

Acceptance Criteria Home page has a Summary section before the list of pages. This Summary section is editable in the Wordpress admin. This summary section does not have a title This section does not link anywhere No section header (see attached img)

FYI:

Using the terminal app do the following:

• Type cd with the path to where you downloaded the portfolio repo. No worries if you don't know it if you find the repo in the finder app you can drag the folder named portfolio into the terminal app and it will place the path info for you. NOTE: Remember to type cd + a space character.
• Hit enter when you have done the above.
• You can now run the git pull origin master command to get the latest changes.
• When git pull is done you can then run php -S localhost:8080 to start a PHP development server.
• You should now be able to enter localhost:8080 in a browser URL bar and see your local website running.
• Type ctrl + c in the terminal where you ran the php -S localhost:8080 when you are done this will deactivate the development server.

I have defined a widget in Wordpress called Home Summary. To edit this widget and show it on the home page do the following:

• Log into the Wordpress Admin
• Select the Appearance > Customize link in the left dashboard menu. This will load the Customize the current active theme editing page.
• Select Widgets in the list.
• The Home Summary should be the only listed widget. This widget may already be in active editing mode for you. If it is you will see a button +Add a Widget (I know the terminology is bad here). If you do not see the +Add a Widget click the Home Summary button this will load a panel with the +Add a Widget button.
• Click the +Add a Widget button. This provides you with a list of available components you can add to the Home Summary as content that will be shown on the page. Since you want to just add a description use the Custom HTML component.
• You do not have to add a title in the field if you don't want to but I have it set to load an H1 element if you ever choose to. Sadly you will have to enter HTML for what you want to appear in the Home Summary section. This Online Editor provides a way for you to type rich text and then copy the HTML you need for the widget. If it includes class names or style attributes please strip them out.

I was able to edit the content following the instructions your provided.

1 The title ("about") needs to follow the same style as the other section titles on the homepage (font-family: Oswald-Bold;font-size: 14px;color: #D27655;letter-spacing: 1.17px;)

2 The body content needs to be aligned to to the body content in the 'projects' section below. I added a vertical rule in the attache comp to show what I mean

@floodsk The Home page summary should now fall in line with the other listings. As an FYI it is very unclear in the comps that the About top portion is something different from the Long Title portion.
