Some questions:

How can I increase the chunk size to e.g. 128? It looks like a lot of the number are basing on 32.
Why do I have weird lod effects for the trees?

I would like to increase the height of the world - in order to place clouds in the sky - but it looks like this is also not so easily possible.

I think the trees get stretched at lower lod levels because chunks are always the same size in voxels, but lower lod chunks are twice as big in world space.
I haven't tested bigger chunk sizes yet (maybe 64x64), there may be bugs as you probably found out. Increasing width and depth may be to slow for the simplex noise generator. Increasing height makes sense, but I haven't tested this yet. To get better resolution it might be better to keep width/depth at 32x32, and instead make voxels 0.5x0.5 meters, instead of 1x1 meters, and add another chunk-lod level to the world to keep the same overall size.
