Good question, not sure. On the wiki it's the same.

@jhaye I suspect there's a difference between Wiki markdown and Github markdown. If that was meant to be bold or italic, we should change that to **this is bold** and _this is italic_

Yeah I think I tried to mention this during the meeting, but was too tired to make it abundantly clear that there's a difference in formatting between the two. :)
