Personally I'm a fan of leaving the scrollbar rendering to the OS, but would also welcome a contrast improvement!

--which includes info on contrast ratios and other guidelines. Accessibility guidelines for non-text objects seems to be the same as for text?
Right now, it’s hard to see the scrollbar in itself and the thumb, see screenshot:
I myself had difficulty in the beginning locating the scrollbar, and even now it’s hard to locate it instinctively, so it might be really hard for people who don’t have a perfect vision.
So we may want to tweak the colors to make it more accessible.
