what's needed for this task? Wouldn't Kevin Thull be doing most of this?

If Kevin is doing the recordings this year he sets his equipment up in the presentation rooms. AV wranglers make sure session leaders have everything they need to do their sessions and everything is working correctly before the session starts. Considering everyone brings their own hardware and software it's all about making sure sessions run smoothly, session leaders are comfortable, and all equipment is working properly.

Is anyone interested in learning the ins and outs of the recording kits? My goal this year is to start mentoring folks that would be willing to take on this task for the community so that we can achieve more complete coverage and beyond North America. I should be able to set up Friday after training if rooms are available.

Will either of you be available this afternoon for an in-depth training on the recording kits? Alternatively, we can do this after the first session tomorrow morning. I see that room 180 is empty at 11:00.
