Starting to review the article. But, at first glance, this is no longer "quick" :) It's a pretty comprehensive run through, and there's a lot of value to it.
Can we distill down the commands (or subset of commands) from this and create an actual quick start? Example: Hy Quickstart. We can either put this on the top of this article or create a separate quick start tutorial and call this a more comprehensive tutorial?
Yeah I agree with you. I'll cut some stuff out

Read through it. Looks great - solid intro tutorial!

After reading through it, I really like it. I don't think we have to cut anything out of this. It might just be worthwhile to have a true quickstart for the impatient reader, in addition to this more comprehensive walkthrough
Okay I made the merge-necessary changes. Per our conversation outside this PR, I am merging now and we will iterate later with a shorter quickstart, and then put this into its own tutorial
Proposed update to the quickstart tutorial.
This was kind of sitting stale for a bit, so I think feedback would be good. It's a fair amount longer than the old quickstart, so maybe we can get rid of some stuff if it's too tedious to get through. I am open to any feedback.
I ran through the quick-start from start to finish with the new code and descriptions and everything seems to be in line, but let me know if you see any issues.
