Witty has encountered an unexpected error #213

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Starting Witty
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Witty starts as expected but throws random and multiple "Witty has 
encountered an unexpected error. Please restart Witty" error messages

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Witty 2.1
Windows XP Tablet
Version 5.1
Build 2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.080814-1236 : Service Pack 3

Please provide any additional information below.

The issue evidenced itself after the upgrade from release 2.0 to 2.1

Running an Acer TravelMate C200, Intel(R) Celeron(R)M 1.5 GHz 2.0GB RAM

I upgraded to 2.1 on another XP Pro SP3 box (not the tablet version) and 
have not experienced any issues.

Oddly enough nothing shows in the event viewer

Definitely a Witty 2.1 release issue, I uninstalled 2.1 and reinstalled 2.0 and 
everything is back to normal, no Witty error messages

In case it might be useful:

* Using MS .Net Framework 3.5
* No new software was installed on the machine after the upgrade to 2.1
* No existing software was upgraded after the upgrade to Witty 2.1
* No MS updates were completed after the 2.1 upgrade

Possibly this is a Windows XP Tablet issue?

I will try a Witty 2.1 install on my ASUS R2H tablet later this week and see 
how that 
works out.

I have seen this same issue, at unpredictable times during startup on Vista SP1 
x64 
and Windows 7 Beta 1 x86.

I experienced this same error tonight on a fresh Windows 7 install:

1. Installed Windows 7 x86
2. Installed Firefox 3
3. Rebooted
4. Used Witty Click-once installer
5. Tried to sign-in at Witty's sign-in page
6. Encountered error.
