Ok, figured this one out. In Windows 7, if you run Witty from the Start menu,
then
once it's running, right-click the taskbar icon and "Pin to Taskbar", the menu
option
to "Check for Updates" is disabled. This must have something to do with "Click
Once".
Unfortunately, I see no way in Windows 7 to pin a correct application/shortcut
to the
Taskbar.
Not a serious issue. If I need to check for an update, I can launch Witty from
the
Start Menu and the "Check for Updates" button is enabled.
