As per https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-3466, ParCEFone will not properly parse English dates when operating on foreign locales (e.g. ja_JP)
Sadly, HPE's documentation makes no mention to this, leading me to suspect the processing is down to the end user / developer. Reached out to HPE to get clarification on expected behavior
