Sqs event not received when fleuntd restart #270

There are events living in my sqs queue and fluentd is initially in a stopped state. Now when I start fluentd will the events be fetched by fluentd as soon as start or after some time automatically. In my case I never get the events in fluentd when I start fluentd and events are already existing in sqs.
