Using the latest version of Alpine Linux OS in Fluentd docker image is intended to fix upcoming vulnerability findings in the future.

Thanks for your suggestion, but we need to control installed version of OS and modules explicitly to avoid unexpected behaviour. Alpine Linux 3.17 series is still maintained so that we can receive security fixes until 2024-11-22: https://www.alpinelinux.org/releases/
